interviewed a teacher called ben button last week he has taught children aged 6-16 and he writes education schemes for primary schools whilst teaching high school special needs students. he gave me a copy of the national curriculum and we discussed primary school history.
over the past few weeks i have visited the British museum in London, the Royal Armories in Leeds and the Leeds history museum. the leeds museums contain educational aids which helps to make up for the lack of wowness compared to the british museum.
this years toy fair ran from the 28-31st jan i was there on the 30th. i used my time there to get my portfolio around and to research contemporary toy design. Some of the most impressive things i saw were the orchid toys stand and the macmillan children's books, as well as all the mega awesomeness.
